Come with your friends and family to help us plant trees to enhance Horse Close Wood, on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February, 10am to 1pm. This will be a memorable occasion and will leave a lasting legacy in our fine park. We aim to plant 1,000 trees over the weekend to replace those lost in the past and to screen the Wimbledon Park Road car park from view. Please come suitably dressed and bring something to drink and eat during a break at 11:30. Tools provided. The trees have been funded by a £3,000 grant from the Mayor of London’s office and are part of our activities to mark the Capability Brown 300th anniversary.
